Of Counsel with Roland Stock (formerly Roland & Schlegel), Jerry R. Richwine specializes in condemnation law and eminent domain matters, personal injury litigation and alternative dispute resolution. He has handled hundreds of condemnation/eminent domain cases and personal injury claims. Mr. Richwine has also served as a mediator in a variety of civil disputes, and as an expert witness in legal malpractice matters.

Mr. Richwine began his career with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General in Harrisburg, PA, where he handled condemnation cases as an Assistant Attorney General. From 1978 through 1980, he served as Central Region Attorney, managing the Office of Attorney General Trial Staff for Central Pennsylvania in 26 counties while continuing to try condemnation disputes. After entering private practice, Mr. Richwine supervised the civil litigation department of a well-known Reading, PA, law firm before joining Roland Stock in 2000.  

An active member of the Berks County Bar Association, Mr. Richwine was a frequent lecturer at Berks County Bench-Bar Conferences and other Bar Association events, and served as a mediator for the Berks County Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. He was a member of the Bar Association’s Common Pleas Court Rules Committee from 1981 to 2007, serving as the Committee’s chairman in 1984. He was also a member of the Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee from 1997 to 2007. Beyond his service to the Berks County Bar Association, Mr. Richwine was a mediator for the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and served as an arbitrator in uninsured and underinsured motorist cases.

Mr. Richwine is admitted to practice throughout Pennsylvania and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and United States Supreme Court. He earned his law degree from Temple University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Grove City College.
